Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 large egg whites

blue gel food coloring

2 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 cup white chocolate (optional)

Instructions
1. Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together until smooth.
2. Beat egg whites, add cream of tartar and sugar, whip to stiff peaks.
3. Mix in vanilla and food coloring.
4. Fold dry ingredients into batter until smooth and flowing.

7. Bake at 300°F for 14–16 minutes.
8. Cool completely.
9. Prepare filling by beating butter, sugar, cream, and vanilla.
10. Assemble macarons with filling.
11. Decorate with snowflakes.
12. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.
