A Raspberry Margarita is a vibrant and refreshing twist on the classic margarita. Made with fresh raspberries, tequila, lime juice, and a splash of orange liqueur, this cocktail bursts with sweet-tart flavor and stunning color. Perfect for any occasion, it’s simple to prepare and always a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco or reposado tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec)
  • ½ oz simple syrup or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries (plus more for garnish)
  • Coarse salt (for rimming the glass)
  • Ice
  • Lime wheel (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass:
    Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Dip the rim in coarse salt to coat. Set aside.

  2. Muddle the Raspberries:
    In a cocktail shaker, add fresh raspberries and gently muddle to release juices.

  3. Add Ingredients:
    Add tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup to the shaker.

  4. Shake:
    Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.

  5. Strain:
    Double strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.

  6. Garnish:
    Garnish with a lime wheel and extra raspberries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
