1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup Easter M&M candies
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Extra Easter M&M candies for topping
Spring sprinkles optional
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
6. Fold in the Easter M&M candies, white chocolate chips, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
8. Press extra Easter M&M candies and sprinkles onto the top of the batter.
9. Bake for 28 to 34 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is slightly soft.
10. Allow the blondies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
11. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Do not overbake the blondies or they may become dry instead of soft and chewy.
Reserve extra Easter M&M candies for the top to create a colorful bakery-style appearance.
Let the blondies cool completely before slicing for cleaner cuts and better texture.
