1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 teaspoon peppermint extract

3 drops green food coloring

4. Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.

5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

6. Stir in chocolate chips.

7. Spread the batter evenly into the baking pan.

8. Bake for 28 to 32 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.

9. Cool the brownies completely.

10. Beat softened butter for the mint filling until creamy.

11. Add powdered sugar, heavy cream, peppermint extract, and food coloring.

12. Beat until smooth and fluffy.

Do not overbake the brownies if you want a rich and fudgy texture.

Allow the brownie layer to cool completely before adding the mint frosting.

Chilling the brownies before slicing helps create clean and neat layers.
