Ingredients

2 to 3 lb turkey breast

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped

1 tsp fresh sage, chopped

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

1 cup chicken broth


Instructions

1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels and place it on a clean surface.

2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, herbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.

3. Rub the mixture evenly over the turkey breast, including under the skin if possible.

4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

5. Place the turkey in a roasting dish and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.

6. Roast the turkey uncovered for 60–90 minutes, basting occasionally with pan juices.

7. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

8. Remove from the oven and let the turkey rest for 10–15 minutes.

9. Slice against the grain and serve with pan juices.
