Ingredients
- 1 baguette or ciabatta, sliced
- 4 ripe Roma tomatoes, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 6–8 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

Prepare the tomatoes – Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Toast the bread – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Toast for 5–7 minutes until golden.

Rub with garlic – While warm, rub each slice with a peeled garlic clove for extra flavor.
