Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 tablespoons chicken broth

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and onion powder.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat until hot and slightly foamy.

3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes on the first side without moving them until golden brown.

4. Flip the chicken and cook another 5–7 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

6. Lower the heat slightly and add the remaining butter to the skillet.

7. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

8. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the flavorful browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
