2 large chicken breasts

12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon salt (for pasta water)
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat oil and butter in a skillet and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and rest.
3. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
5. Add heavy cream and simmer gently until slightly thickened.
6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
7. Season sauce with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
8. Toss pasta in the sauce until fully coated.
