Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz (225g) linguine pasta
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts into strips and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- Boil linguine in salted water according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a low simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
- Toss cooked linguine into the sauce. Add pasta water a bit at a time if needed to loosen.
- Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and warm through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
