Ingredients
12 oz rotini pasta
1 teaspoon salt
1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups chopped iceberg lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
1/2 cup diced dill pickles
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoons sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
2. Cook ground beef with seasoning in a skillet until browned, drain and cool.
3. Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, spices, and sugar to make dressing.
4. Chop lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and onion into bite-sized pieces.
5. Combine pasta, beef, cheese, pickles, tomatoes, and onion in a large bowl.
6. Pour dressing over and toss gently to coat.
7. Add lettuce and mix lightly.
8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
9. Toss again before serving and adjust seasoning.
Notes
