3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy canes

2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles (optional)

1 tablespoon sparkling sugar (optional)


Instructions

1. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy (2–3 minutes).

2. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

4. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, crushed peppermint candy, and optional sprinkles.

5. For thicker cookies, chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

7. Scoop dough balls using a cookie scoop or tablespoon and place them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.

8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are soft.
