Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup granola
1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 whole strawberry for garnish
1 small mint leaf for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash and slice the strawberries. Reserve one whole strawberry for garnish.
2. In a bowl, mix yogurt with vanilla extract and honey/maple syrup if desired.
3. Add a spoonful of granola at the bottom of a parfait glass.
4. Spoon a layer of yogurt over the granola.
5. Add a layer of sliced strawberries.
6. Repeat the layers until the glass is full, ending with yogurt.
7. Top with granola, a whole strawberry, and mint leaf.
8. Serve immediately for best texture.
Notes
Add granola right before serving to maintain its crunch.
Use ripe, sweet strawberries for best flavor.
Greek yogurt provides a thicker, creamier texture.
Can be prepared in advance without granola.
