Description
A quick and delicious pasta dish coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze and tossed with golden seared sausage. Sweet, savory, and satisfying, it’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or when you want something comforting without the fuss.
Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
14 oz smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons reserved pasta water
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set pasta aside.
2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage slices in a single layer and cook until golden and crispy on the edges, about 5–7 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside.
3. Lower heat to medium. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4. Add honey and soy sauce to the pan, stirring well to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Return sausage to the pan and stir to coat in the glaze. Add cooked pasta and toss everything together. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and toss to combine. Serve hot, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
