Ingredients
1 lb flank steak or ribeye, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp gochujang
0.5 tsp black pepper
1 tsp rice vinegar
2 portions Korean-style ramen noodles
1 tbsp gochujang
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, finely minced
Pinch of salt
1 to 2 tbsp warm water
2 tbsp chopped green onions
0.5 tsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, gochujang, black pepper, and rice vinegar. Add sliced beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
2. Whisk mayonnaise, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Add water to adjust to a drizzleable consistency. Chill.
3. Boil a large pot of water and cook noodles until al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water.
4. Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high. Cook beef slices 1–2 minutes per side until charred. Cook in batches if needed.
5. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, chili flakes, sugar, and garlic. Add noodles and toss until coated. Warm briefly in a skillet if desired.
6. Divide sauced noodles into bowls. Top with grilled beef, creamy garlic sauce, green onions, and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
Gochujang can vary in spice—adjust chili flakes if needed.
Rest grilled beef before serving to retain juices.
Creamy sauce can be thinned with warm water to maintain pourable consistency.
