Ingredients

2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

12 oz linguine pasta

2 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic finely minced

1 ¼ cups heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper to taste

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

½ cup reserved pasta water

Fresh parsley chopped

Extra grated Parmesan

Lemon wedges

Instructions

1. Pat chicken dry and pound to even thickness if needed. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside to rest.

3. Meanwhile, boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.

4. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute on medium heat.

5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a light simmer.

6. Reduce heat and slowly whisk in grated Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

7. Add pasta to sauce and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water a bit at a time to reach desired consistency.

8. Slice rested Cajun chicken and place on top of the creamy linguine. Garnish with parsley, lemon, and more Parmesan.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan to get the creamiest, silkiest sauce texture.

Let the chicken rest before slicing to keep juices locked in.

For extra creaminess, double the sauce portion—pasta absorbs more than you think!
