Ingredients

4 large bread rolls or sourdough bowls

200g spaghetti

250g ground beef

2 cups marinara sauce

3 cloves garlic

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons fresh parsley

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out the centers, keeping thick walls intact.

2. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush inside each bread bowl. Toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden.

3. Boil salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.

4. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook ground beef until browned, then add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

5. Pour in marinara sauce and simmer for 10–15 minutes. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

6. Toss cooked spaghetti with the sauce until well coated.

7. Fill each toasted bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.

8. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use day-old bread for better structure and crispiness.

Don’t over-sauce the pasta to avoid soggy bread bowls.

Freshly grated cheese melts better and enhances flavor.
