A must-try for red velvet lovers and cookie enthusiasts alike.

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon red food coloring

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white vinegar

3/4 cup white chocolate chips (plus more for topping)

Instructions

1. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

2. Add egg, vanilla extract, and red food coloring. Mix until smooth and vibrant.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

4. Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.

5. Add vinegar and fold in white chocolate chips.

6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

7. Scoop dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

8. Press extra white chocolate chips on top of each dough ball.

9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9-11 minutes until edges are set.

10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough enhances flavor and prevents excess spreading.

Use room-temperature butter for smooth, creamy mixing.

Save extra chips for topping to get that bakery-style look.
