Ingredients
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1 1/2 cups shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese
24 slices pepperoni
3/4 cup marinara sauce
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Slice the buns horizontally as one slab, keeping the individual rolls intact.
3. Place the bottom half of the buns in the dish and spread marinara sauce evenly over them.
4. Add a layer of pepperoni, followed by mozzarella cheese.
5. Place the top half of the buns back on top.
6. Mix melted butter with Italian seasoning and garlic powder, then brush over the tops.
7. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
9. Remove foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
10. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve with extra marinara for dipping.
Notes
Let sliders rest for 5 minutes after baking for easier slicing.
Use thick marinara to avoid soggy bottoms.
Freeze unbaked sliders for a make-ahead option—just increase bake time when cooking from frozen.
