Perfect if you’re craving spicy pasta, looking for dinner ideas, or just need a comforting one-pot meal. It’s rich, satisfying, and ready in under 40 minutes.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

12 ounces linguine

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Slice the chicken into strips or bite-sized pieces.

2. In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and sear for 5–7 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same pot, add a little more olive oil if needed. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.

5. Add the uncooked linguine into the pot. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

6. Let the pasta simmer for 10–12 minutes, until tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.

7. Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese. Mix until melted and creamy.

8. Return the chicken to the pot and toss to coat in the sauce. Let everything warm through for 1–2 minutes.

9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, creamiest sauce.

Add a splash of cream or broth when reheating to revive the sauce.

Reduce the red pepper flakes for a more mild version if you’re spice-sensitive.
