Description

Looking for a quick, soul-satisfying meal that’s easy to make and even easier to clean up? This One Pot Creamy Garlic Pasta is a dream come true for busy weeknights and lazy weekends alike. Rich, garlicky, and silky smooth, this easy recipe takes pantry staples and transforms them into a gourmet-style dinner—all in one pot. Perfect for quick dinner ideas, comfort food cravings, or easy pasta nights, this creamy pasta dish is everything you love about Italian-inspired food without the hassle.

Ingredients

1 pound pasta (penne or fettuccine)

4 cups vegetable or chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. In a large pot or deep skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat.

2. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, without browning.

3. Pour in the broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.

4. Add the uncooked pasta and stir well to coat with the garlic mixture.

5. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.

6. Once the pasta is al dente and most of the broth is absorbed, reduce the heat.

7. Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 3–4 minutes.

8. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan until melted and creamy.

9. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best flavor and texture, always use freshly grated Parmesan rather than pre-shredded cheese.

If your sauce thickens too much, stir in a splash of cream or broth to loosen it before serving.

To make it a full meal, add cooked chicken, shrimp, or roasted vegetables during the final step.
