Ingredients
36 Oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz white chocolate or candy melts
48 candy eyes
1 tsp coconut oil or shortening (optional)
Instructions
1. Place the Oreo cookies into a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
2. Add the softened cream cheese and mix until a smooth dough forms.
3. Scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
5. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating fully, and place back on the tray.
7. While still wet, press two candy eyes onto each ball.
8. Use a piping bag or spoon to drizzle additional white chocolate in zigzag lines to mimic mummy bandages.
9. Allow to set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
10. Serve or store as desired.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature so it blends smoothly with the crushed Oreos.
Chill the Oreo balls before dipping to help them hold their shape and coat evenly.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container and drizzle the mummy lines just before serving for the cleanest look.
