Ingredients

2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts

1 cup Greek yogurt

3 cloves garlic

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 cucumber

1/2 red onion

2 cups lettuce

4 pita breads

2 tbsp fresh dill


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out excess water. Mix with Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill, olive oil, and salt to make tzatziki. Chill.

3. Cook the chicken in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked. Let it rest, then slice.

4. Slice cucumber, red onion, and prepare lettuce. Warm the pita bread.

5. Assemble wraps with lettuce, veggies, chicken, and tzatziki sauce. Wrap and serve.


Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.

Always squeeze cucumber well to avoid watery tzatziki.
