Description

Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, garlicky chicken dish with roasted cherry tomatoes, Parmesan, and fresh thyme, all simmered together in one skillet. Rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, it’s a dish known to win hearts with just one bite.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken thighs for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to blister, about 3–5 minutes.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  10. Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
  11. Uncover and let sauce thicken slightly.
  12. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
