Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry and place them skin-side down on a lined baking sheet or in a skillet.
  3. In a small saucepan or bowl, melt the butter and mix in garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Spoon the garlic lemon butter over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or sear 4–5 minutes per side, until salmon flakes easily.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
