Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 packs instant ramen noodles
1 tablespoon sesame oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
0.25 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon gochujang or 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons water
3 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and cook for 2–3 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
3. Push the beef to one side of the pan. Add sesame oil and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, then mix with the beef.
4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang (or red pepper flakes), rice vinegar, ginger, and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
5. Add the drained ramen noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat well in the sauce. Cook for 1–2 more minutes.
6. Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
