Description

Looking for a festive and easy appetizer that steals the show? This Irresistible Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread is the perfect pull-apart holiday recipe that’s buttery, golden, and stuffed with gooey cheese. Shaped like a Christmas tree and brushed with garlic butter, this dish brings charm and flavor to your holiday spread. Whether you need quick breakfast ideas, easy dinner recipes, or holiday food ideas, this cheesy bread fits the bill. Serve it with warm marinara and watch it disappear!

Ingredients

1 lb pizza dough

2024 cubes mozzarella cheese (¾ inch each)

3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

All-purpose flour, for dusting

Marinara or pizza sauce, for dipping

Instructions

1. Lightly flour your surface and divide the dough into 20–24 equal pieces. Let it rest 10 minutes if too elastic.

2. Place one mozzarella cube in each dough piece. Seal tightly and roll into smooth balls.

3. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange the dough balls into a tree shape.

4. Let rise for 20 minutes at room temp. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

5. Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, and seasoning. Brush over dough balls.

6. Bake 18–22 minutes until golden. Rotate tray if needed.

7. Brush with remaining butter, sprinkle with parmesan and parsley. Serve with marinara.

Notes

Don’t overstuff the dough or the cheese will leak during baking.

Fresh herbs and parmesan added after baking enhance both flavor and appearance.

Serve warm for the ultimate cheesy pull-apart experience.
