Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
- Add the cold, cubed butter. Cut it into the flour using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the cold buttermilk and gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
