- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Tzatziki Sauce:

- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or mint

- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 large tomato, sliced into wedges
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cucumber, sliced

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken, coat well, cover, and marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Grate cucumber and squeeze out excess moisture. Combine with yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki. Chill until ready to use.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked and slightly charred. Let rest, then slice.
- Warm pita in a skillet or over a flame for 30 seconds per side.
- Assemble gyros: layer lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion on pita. Add chicken slices and spoon tzatziki on top. Garnish with parsley if desired.
