Ingredients
1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
3 to 4 tablespoons fig jam
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
2 tablespoons pepitas (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Crackers, crostini, or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish or skillet with parchment paper if desired.
2. Place the brie wheel in the center of the baking dish. No need to remove the rind.
3. Spread fig jam over the top of the brie evenly.
4. Sprinkle the chopped nuts and pepitas on top of the jam. Press them in lightly.
5. Bake in the oven for 15–20 minutes until the brie is soft and gooey.
6. Remove from the oven and optionally drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if using.
8. Let sit for 2–3 minutes before serving with crackers or toasted bread.
Notes
Bring the brie to room temperature before baking to help it melt evenly.
Don’t overload with jam—just enough to coat the top keeps the flavors balanced.
Serve immediately while warm and gooey for the best experience.
