Perfect for anyone searching for an easy recipe, hearty food ideas, or crowd-pleasing dinner ideas.

Ingredients

9 oz cheese tortellini

½ lb ground beef

½ lb Italian sausage

3 cups fresh spinach

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp butter

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it apart until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, leaving a small amount for flavor.

2. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, then stir in the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly, seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

4. Add fresh spinach and stir until it wilts completely into the sauce.

5. Meanwhile, cook tortellini in a separate pot according to package instructions, then drain.

6. Add cooked tortellini and the browned meat to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and coated in sauce.

7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan over the top. If oven-safe, broil the skillet for 2–3 minutes until bubbly and golden. Otherwise, cover until the cheese melts.

8. Serve hot with optional sides like garlic bread or salad.

Notes

Use fresh tortellini for the best texture—it cooks quickly and stays tender.

Don’t skip the garlic butter step—it forms the flavor foundation of the whole dish.

If reheating leftovers, stir in a splash of cream or milk to revive the sauce.
