Description

Soft, chewy, and loaded with colorful M&Ms, these Easy M&M Cookies are a fun and delicious treat for any occasion. Perfect for parties, holidays, or just a sweet snack, these cookies have a buttery flavor, crispy edges, and a gooey center. Quick to make and even quicker to disappear!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups M&Ms, plus extra for topping

 



Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden but centers are slightly soft.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container for later!
