  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: 1 small onion, diced
  • Optional: 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: 1 cup baby spinach
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Brown the Sausage
    In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked (about 6–8 minutes). Add diced onion and garlic if using. Drain excess grease.
  • Assemble in Crockpot
    Add the browned sausage, marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning into the crockpot. Stir to combine.
  • Slow Cook the Sauce
