Description

This creamy, cheesy Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli is a rich and satisfying dish that combines slow-cooked tender chicken, fettuccine pasta, and fresh broccoli in a homemade Alfredo sauce. It’s perfect for busy weeknights, easy dinner ideas, or hearty lunch prep. With minimal effort and maximum flavor, this easy recipe offers a comforting family favorite made entirely in the slow cooker. Great for leftovers, healthy meal planning, and anyone in need of food ideas that please both kids and adults.

Ingredients

1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

3 cups broccoli florets

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

0.5 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

8 oz fettuccine pasta (cooked and drained)

Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Season the cubed chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle with olive oil or butter and toss to coat evenly.

2. Place the chicken in the Crock Pot. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and mozzarella. Stir gently to combine.

3. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for about 2 hours.

4. While chicken cooks, boil the fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

5. Add broccoli to the Crock Pot about 30 minutes before the end of cooking time. Stir in and allow it to soften.

6. Stir in the cooked fettuccine. Let everything cook together for 10–15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

7. Serve hot, garnished with more Parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan to avoid grainy sauce and get the best creamy texture.

Add broccoli toward the end of cooking to maintain a vibrant color and slight crunch.

Stir the Alfredo sauce occasionally if possible to prevent cheese from sticking to the edges.
