Ingredients
300 g salmon fillet, boneless and skinless
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.25 teaspoon black pepper
1.5 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon olive oil (or use spray if air frying)
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional garnish)
Instructions
1. Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and cut into 1 to 1.5-inch cubes.
2. Place salmon cubes in a bowl and toss with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. Sprinkle cornstarch over the salmon and toss gently to coat each piece evenly.
4. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
5. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon cubes and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Alternatively, air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway.
6. Once the salmon is cooked and crisp, transfer to a plate. Drizzle or toss with bang bang sauce while warm.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For best crispiness, make sure the salmon is dry before seasoning and cooking.
Adjust the spice in the sauce to suit your taste—add extra sriracha for heat or a touch of honey for sweetness.
These are best served immediately, but leftovers can be reheated in an air fryer or oven for a second round of crunch.
