Description

This Creamy Dill Pickle Cheese Ball is a flavor-packed appetizer perfect for any gathering. It combines the tangy zest of dill pickles with creamy cheese, fresh herbs, and savory seasoning—all rolled into a party-friendly ball. No cooking required, just mix, chill, and serve. Whether you’re making it ahead or whipping it up last minute, this cheese ball is guaranteed to disappear fast!

Ingredients

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped dill pickles

2 tbsp fresh chopped dill (plus more for coating)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp pickle juice

1/4 cup additional chopped dill pickles (for coating)

Mini dill pickles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature until softened, about 20–30 minutes.

2. Finely chop the dill pickles and fresh dill. Pat pickles dry with a paper towel to avoid extra moisture.

3. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped pickles, fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and pickle juice until fully combined.

4. Shape the mixture into a ball. If it’s too soft, refrigerate for 10–15 minutes before shaping.

5. Combine extra chopped pickles and fresh dill on a plate. Roll the cheese ball in the mixture to coat evenly.

6. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

7. Before serving, garnish with mini dill pickles if desired. Serve with crackers, pretzels, or veggies.

Notes

Best served chilled. Can be made up to 5 days ahead. Use gluten-free crackers or veggies for a gluten-free option.
