Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 oz ranch dressing seasoning mix (1 packet)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of your Crock Pot. Season lightly with black pepper.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth.
3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the Crock Pot. Spread it evenly if needed.
4. Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
5. Once the chicken is fully cooked, shred it using tongs or forks inside the Crock Pot.
6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully incorporated.
7. Serve warm over your choice of rice, pasta, or low-carb sides.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
For richer flavor, sear the chicken before slow cooking.
Use fully thawed chicken for safety and even cooking.
A cornstarch slurry can thicken the sauce further if desired.
