Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 small red bell pepper, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

3/4 cup chicken broth

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup heavy cream

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet and sear chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper until softened, about 3–4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds more.

4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up the browned bits from the skillet.

5. Lower the heat and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth. Add heavy cream and whisk to combine.

6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over each piece, cover, and simmer on low for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.

7. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional paprika if desired. Serve warm.
