Description

Get ready to recreate a restaurant favorite right in your kitchen with this Copycat Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Crusted Chicken. This easy dinner idea features juicy, pan-seared chicken topped with a creamy, cheesy layer and finished with a crispy golden crust. Perfect for quick dinner, easy recipe, and comfort food lovers.

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese

1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic minced

1/4 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and nearly cooked through. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and scrape up the browned bits, then stir in heavy cream and let simmer until slightly thickened.

4. In a bowl, mix ranch dressing, Parmesan cheese, and provolone cheese until well combined.

5. In a separate pan, melt butter and toast panko breadcrumbs with minced garlic until golden brown.

6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the creamy cheese mixture over each piece.

7. Sprinkle the toasted breadcrumb mixture on top, pressing lightly to adhere.

8. Broil for 2–4 minutes until the topping is bubbly and golden brown.

9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with sauce spooned over the chicken.

Notes

Make sure to pat the chicken dry before searing to achieve a perfect golden crust.

Do not overcook during the searing step since the chicken will finish under the broiler.

Watch closely while broiling to avoid burning the breadcrumb topping.
