Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/3 cup hot honey

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or use a wire rack.

2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.

3. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat in seasoned panko.

5. Place on baking sheet and spray tops with cooking oil.

6. Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden and cooked through.

7. In a saucepan, melt butter and mix with hot honey. Let it bubble briefly, then remove from heat.

8. Drizzle hot honey glaze over the baked chicken.

9. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

10. Rest briefly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use a wire rack while baking for a super crispy crust.

Let the glaze cool a bit before drizzling—it sticks better that way.

Pounding the chicken ensures even cooking and maximum juiciness.
