Golden, crispy, and melt-in-your-mouth soft inside, these Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites combine the swirl of cinnamon rolls with the rich flavor of classic French toast. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a dessert treat, they come together quickly with just a handful of ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 can pre-made cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup
  • Extra cinnamon sugar
  • Icing from roll package

Instructions

  1. Open and separate the cinnamon rolls. Slice each into 4 bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar (if using), and salt.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tbsp butter.
  4. Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture for 2–3 seconds.
  5. Place the coated bites on the skillet, cooking 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Repeat in batches, adding more butter as needed.
  7. Serve warm with desired toppings like maple syrup or icing.
