1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar, sifted

2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

1 pinch salt

red food coloring, optional

7. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

8. Scoop the dough into even portions and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
