  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining butter to the skillet and sauté mushrooms until browned and tender.
