Description

A bold and comforting dish that pairs juicy Cajun-spiced steak bites with rich and creamy fettuccine Alfredo. Perfect for a flavorful weeknight dinner or an impressive date-night meal, this recipe is all about satisfying contrasts and smooth indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Toss steak pieces with Cajun seasoning until fully coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side, then set aside to rest.
  4. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water and drain.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes over medium heat.
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
  8. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  9. Plate the pasta and top with steak bites. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese if desired.
