Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, sliced

1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped

8 ounces linguine pasta

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon black pepper

Salt, to taste

¼ cup reserved pasta water (as needed)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook until al dente (8–10 minutes). Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2. Pat steak strips dry. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak strips in batches for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

4. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Return steak to pan and toss in garlic butter. Remove from heat.

5. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté garlic over medium heat. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until melted.

6. Toss cooked linguine into the sauce. Use reserved pasta water to adjust thickness if needed.

7. Plate the creamy linguine and top with Cajun garlic butter steak. Spoon any extra butter sauce on top.

8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan to ensure a smooth and creamy sauce texture.

Always let steak rest after cooking to keep it juicy and flavorful.

Reserve pasta water — it’s essential for perfecting the sauce consistency.
