These Blueberry Cheesecake Heaven Rolls are a decadent fusion of soft, fluffy sweet rolls filled with creamy cheesecake and swirls of fresh blueberry compote. Perfect for brunch, special mornings, or a sweet indulgence anytime.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for dough)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (plus more for brushing)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for compote)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, 1/4 cup sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add eggs, melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Meanwhile, make the blueberry compote: In a saucepan, combine blueberries, 1/4 cup sugar, lemon juice, zest, and cornstarch. Simmer until thickened, then let cool.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/3 cup sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread the cream cheese mixture, then swirl the blueberry compote over it.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 even slices.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30–45 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally, drizzle with glaze or cream cheese frosting.
