Ingredients

10 fresh jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded

6 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small chunks

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons unsalted butter or olive oil

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

Salt and black pepper to taste

Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or grease it lightly.

2. Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes for milder flavor.

3. Toast panko breadcrumbs in a pan with butter or oil over medium heat until golden and crispy.

4. Place a small chunk of brie into each jalapeño half.

5. Gently press 2–3 blueberries into the cheese in each jalapeño.

6. Sprinkle toasted breadcrumbs generously on top and press lightly to set.

7. Arrange jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley, let cool slightly, and serve warm.

Notes

Let brie sit at room temperature before stuffing to make spreading easier.

Use fresh, firm blueberries to avoid excess moisture inside the poppers.

Toasting breadcrumbs before baking enhances crispiness and color.
