Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 pound breakfast sausage
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups whole milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 large eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a pizza pan or baking sheet. Roll out the biscuit dough and press it into the pan to form a crust.
2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Reserve 1–2 tablespoons of the fat.
3. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir. Cook for 1 minute, then slowly pour in the milk while stirring. Let it simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit crust.
5. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top of the gravy.
6. Make small wells in the toppings and crack eggs into each one carefully.
7. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the eggs are set.
8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and top with parsley or chives if using. Slice and serve.
Notes
Use parchment paper under the crust for easier cleanup.
If freezing, add fresh eggs before baking, not before storing.
Let the pizza rest 5 minutes before slicing to help everything set.
