Crispy and caramelized Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts make the perfect side dish for any meal. Roasted at high heat with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, these sprouts develop golden-brown edges and a tender center. A flavorful, easy, and healthy addition to your dinner table!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and cutting them in half.

  3. Toss with seasoning – In a large bowl, mix Brussels sprouts with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, black pepper, and optional ingredients.

  4. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer, cut side down.

  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and caramelized.

  6. Serve immediately, optionally drizzling with extra balsamic vinegar or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
