Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut in half horizontally if thick)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and slice in half if needed for even thickness.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread mayonnaise evenly on both sides of each chicken piece.
  4. Press the mayo-coated chicken into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  6. Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and internal temperature is 165°F (74°C).
  8. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
