Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut in half horizontally if thick)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and slice in half if needed for even thickness.
- In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on both sides of each chicken piece.
- Press the mayo-coated chicken into the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and internal temperature is 165°F (74°C).
