Description

This Air Fryer Grilled Cheese recipe gives you a golden, crispy crust and a perfectly melty center without the need for flipping or standing over a stove. It’s quick, customizable, and irresistibly delicious for any meal of the day.

Ingredients

2 slices bread

2 slices cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon butter or mayonnaise

Instructions

1. Spread butter or mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

2. Place cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread.

3. Close the sandwich, keeping the buttered sides facing outward.

4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if needed.

5. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.

6. Cook for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through if needed.

7. Let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve.

Notes

Use room-temperature cheese for faster melting.

Avoid overstuffing to prevent cheese from leaking.

Weigh the sandwich down if it starts to puff up.

Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for best texture.
